THE ART OF ACTING REAL
A professional level acting workshop with GILLES PLOUFFE
3 day intensive, Friday 5:00 to 11:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 11:00am to 5:00pm (18 hours)

When you are acting, is your behaviour real to you or not? Are your feelings authentic or artificial. Is your voice connected to your true feelings or are your feelings an expression of an idea?
These are just a few essential questions you need to ask yourself if you want your acting to be real. Not all actors care whether their acting is real or not. But many, like me, care about it deeply. And, let’s face it, all the great actors, when they are fully involved in the imaginary moment, are real. And that’s what we love about them!
In this workshop, you will learn the difference between being real or not. I will teach you how to become aware of the difference between being real in the moment and acting out your idea of the moment. And then, I will teach you how to act real. You will learn the difference and you will learn how to do it. Then it will be your choice to decide if this is the way you want to act from now on or not.
